How to get started




At Harmony, we are dedicated to you—your movement goals, specific body needs, skill level, and special time or budget parameters. Our teachers can help design a program for you, whether you want to enhance your performance in a favorite sport or physical pursuit, strengthen your body and mind, or regain mobility and vigor following an injury. Your goals are our exciting challenges. The Harmony teaching staff will adapt our extensive repertoire of movement techniques and creative experience to help you achieve and exceed your goals.

APPOINTMENTS To schedule an appointment, call us at 412.441.1100, or click here to use Harmony’s easy online Webscheduler.As a newcomer to Harmony, we suggest you take advantage of our introductory package* of five private lessons. We also offer duet sessions for beginners, if you’d like to learn with a spouse, friend, or family member.

In these early lessons, you will be guided through the movement fundamentals, and gain a thorough understanding of technique and philosophy. If needed, our experienced teachers will carefully modify any exercise to accommodate any pre-existing injury, recovery from surgery, or movement limitation you may have.

At the conclusion of your first five lessons, you can choose to continue with your one-on-one work or join a small group class.

PARKING Free parking is available in the convenient parking lot immediately adjacent to our building.

ENTRANCE For your convenience, Harmony has it’s own entrance door which is accessible from Carron Street. When you arrive at the Studio door, just knock lightly and one of our staff members will remotely click to unlock the door for you.

ATTIRE Comfortably-fitting exercise pants and top are all you need to get started. You’ll shed your shoes upon arrival at the Studio, as all exercises are done barefoot, or in special toe socks, if you prefer. The Studio is outfitted with beautiful, state-of-the-art equipment, and any apparatuses or special tools you may need in a given session, are provided for you by Harmony.

FIRST VISIT TO HARMONY At least for your first appointment at Harmony, we suggest you arrive 15 minutes early, to acquaint yourself with the Studio amenities, complete your intake sheet and just relax in Harmony’s serene setting.If you’d like to complete your intake sheet in advance of your first Harmony session, feel free to click the link below and bring your completed form with you.
